Experiments and observations carried out during the past two years 2010-2011 have confirmed that the Hum is caused by an interaction which takes place between the electrical power system or Grid, and the Earths ionosphere.

The best evidence for this comes from Hum sufferers themselves. If the head is moved in a sharp manner, or the sufferer walks or climbs stairs with a sharp step, the Hum can be modulated, for a fraction of a second the Hum is made to stop with each movement.
